Last year pumpkins…
Cannot wait to start carving pumpkins this year. This is one of many family traditions I want to carry-on for as long as I can.
It’s an easy, affordable family activity that can occupy a couple of hours of your day, bring smiles and giggles…and a sense of competition. I love carving pumpkins with my husband and my kids.
What a Weekend…
This past weekend my family and I drove to Belmont, NC to spend time with family. It was a GREAT trip! Friday night was fun, we attended Friday Night Live. The band sounded pretty good and I loved being out and about. It was the end of summer and the fireworks were AWESOME!!!
Saturday morning we went to a couple of yard sales and Jason and I found a few treasures. We also visited a produce stand…and I fell in love with the place. All the veggies looked so good…of course I had to try the tomatoes…the best tomatoes I have ever had!
Saturday night…well…it was the Carolina game against Georgia Dawgs and I have to say that I was so heartbroken after my Carolina Gamecocks lost. But I am still a fan! We grilled out…well I grilled….yes I was in charge of the grill, and although I almost burn the food…dinner turned out great. It was great to see family!
Sunday…I was a little Blah…if you know what I mean…It’s great to see family, but I was SO ready to go home. We got home around 7PM…and yes…we started cleaning the house right away. You know we have inside cats, so obviously cleaning was a MUST. After making a quick dinner (BLT’s) Jason and I watched TV a little too late…and this morning when I had to get the children up at 5:30…OMG…was I tired…well I am still tired…so early bed time for this GAL tonight.
How was your weekend?
